1956 Jaguar XK-140 Fixed Head Coupe (FHC) Complete Restoration

This XK-140  is a Fixed Head Coupe (FHC).  FYI the Drop Head Coupe (DHC) variant  is a 4 seat convertible, and has 2 small seats in back for kids.

The true 2 seat open cars are called “roadsters”.  They do  not  have roll-up windows like the FHCs and DHCs did.  Instead, you insert what are  called “side curtains” into brackets on the inside of the doors.

Some of the 120, 140, 150 cars had the suffix “C”, denoting the cylinder head from the C-type race car.
